Flashpoint is a 13.9K word paranormal mystery MM romance short story and part of the MonsterBoard series. It features an amnesiac who’s trying to figure out what the heck happened to him, a public-school teacher who knows more than he’s saying, mysterious happenings that desperately need unraveling, and a hard-won HEA both guys deserve. (Then again, does ‘ever after’ really have to mean ‘the end’ …?)

When he bumps into Jeff on the sidewalk near his shop, he’s intrigued but hesitant to let anyone get close.

An unexpected event one night will change everything for both men, and neither of their futures will ever be the same.

Despite having known each other for half their lives, it took years of heartache before Carter Hamilton and Riley Porter-Wright could admit they were perfect for each other. They’re in a great place now, and neither wants to rock the boat, but that hasn’t stopped Carter from thinking it’s time to ask Riley a certain question that’s been on his mind.
